DENVER, CO. (December 7th, 2021) – Fit system innovator, BOA® Technology, strengthens its commitment to the Denver community with an expanded relationship with the Colorado Village Collaborative (CVC). After supporting the mission of CVC over the last four years at varying levels, BOA has stepped up with a longer-term partnership that includes significantly increased monetary support and volunteer hours.
CVC is dedicated to creating and operating transformational housing communities in partnership with people coming from homelessness. The majority of BOA’s most recent $60,000 donation will directly go to the hard cost of building five new tiny homes, an interim solution that serves as a bridge between shelters and permanent housing. BOA offers employees the opportunity to volunteer on workdays, helping the organization’s efforts to deconstruct, move, and build safe spaces, with the ultimate goal to get people out of tents and into homes.
“Colorado Village Collaborative has a special approach that truly puts a focus on human dignity and solutions that are affordable and sustainable,” says Ryan Hoeft, CFO at BOA. “At BOA, we’ve made the strategic decision to build lasting, meaningful relationships with a few select organizations. CVC directly improves lives in meaningful, tangible ways, and we are proud to support and shine light on the amazing work the group is doing.”
Hoeft, along with BOA CEO Shawn Neville and BOA’s internal People and Culture team, have become champions of CVC. Extending into a personal commitment and deepening the connection, Hoeft joined the CVC board earlier this year.
“The team at BOA has embraced our mission to bridge the gap between the streets and stable houses, with open minds and open arms,” says Cole Chandler, Executive Director, Colorado Village Collaborative. “We are very grateful for BOA’s partnership – their generous support will make a significant impact in helping some of the most vulnerable people in our Denver community.”
Estimates show a 30 percent surge in homelessness in Denver during the pandemic. To donate to the Colorado Village Collaborative, please visit ColoradoVillageCollaborative.org. More information about BOA’s on-going community support efforts is available at BOAFit.com/community.
