Lauren Walsh has been named Executive Vice President of Branding and Marketing at Solid Foundation Management, the management services arm of Quality Control Music.
Walsh has over 20 years of experience in the world of brand strategy and sports marketing.
Over the years, Walsh has worked with an array of NFL, NBA, and MLB players, ranging from first round draft picks to Hall of Famers, Super Bowl Champs, and All-Stars.
She has negotiated deals with brands, and handled crisis management for “high profile players”, says the company.
Before joining Quality Control, Walsh built and ran her own boutique branding and marketing agency, where she developed and monetized personal brands for athletes, including Jerami Grant, Myles Garrett, Kirk Cousins, Terrell Owens, Matt Carpenter, Tim Anderson and Nick Ahmed.
There, she worked with brands like Beats by Dre, Under Armour, Saks Fifth Avenue, Shopify, Pepsi, Essentia, Waiakea, Vosges, DoorDash, YouTube, and Express.
Walsh is also the founder and creator of Branding 101, an interactive program geared towards college student-athletes.
Her program has been taught at an array of colleges and universities, including Purdue University, Pepperdine, SMU, and IUPUI.
Walsh has been featured in Associated Press, MSN, CNBC, HLN, Fox Sports, Huffington Post, Front OfficeSports, and Chicago Tribune.
Walsh’s hiring follows three recent additions to Quality Control’s executive team.
In October, Simone Mitchell was appointed President of Quality Control Music, Tamika Howard was named Executive VP and Amber Mitchell was promoted to VP Artist Relations.
