BRISTOL, PA — A local marketing agency recently held a fundraiser that raised thousands of dollars for the yearly ‘Shop With A Cop’ program.
1SEO Digital Market, a Bristol-based company, held there ‘Jail and Bail’ fundraiser, which raised money for the ‘Shop With A Cop’ program that the Middletown Township Police Department holds every year around Christmas time. The program allows local police to shop with underprivileged children and help them buy gifts and essentials during the holidays; the funds will go toward the 2022 program.
Lance Bachmann, the founder and CEO of 1SEO Digital Agency, said he wanted to help the police department out due to the strain that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the holiday season the past two years.
“People just weren’t donating,” Bachmann said. His company reached out to several donors, all of whom chipped in for the program. Through his marketing business, Bachmann and 1SEO were able to secure $7,000 in 45 minutes, going over the original goal of $5,000.
Bachmann, who went through the foster care system himself as a child, was passionate about helping out children in need, which is why he partnered with the police department to raise the funds.
“That’s why we did it,” he said.
1SEO has been helping people in the Bucks County community for a number of years. In November, the company held a job fair at their Bristol headquarters, giving local jobseekers a chance to meet employers and find a new career.
