PARKERSBURG — Discovery World on Market is giving the community a sneak peek at its exhibits before the new downtown Parkersburg museum opens this fall.
After a planned Jan. 22 fundraiser for the museum, the Parkersburg Art Center will display prints of the Discovery World exhibits Jan. 25-29 during normal business hours.
“We are all so very excited about this project and the impact that it will have on our community. It is time for the public to get a peek at the plans so all can share our enthusiasm,” said Jessie Siefert, managing director/education director of the Parkersburg Art Center.
An open house is planned for 5-7 p.m. Jan. 27, at the Art Center, with Discovery World on Market staff on hand to answer questions and share information. Light snacks will be offered.
More information is available by following Discovery World on Market on Facebook or Instagram or by contacting Executive Director Wendy Shriver at wendy-shriver@dwonmarket.org.
