When taking a trip to the grocery store, do you stop and take a look at the nutrition labels?
It can be a little confusing, but that’s why we have Registered Dietician, Carol Bell, from Table Health in Traverse City to help us!
It’s important to know what you’re consuming, and how much of it you’re consuming.
Bell advises us to look at the serving size, because that’s what the label will be describing. She also tells us to look for a couple key things; fiber and protein.
For more help on how to read a nutrition label, CLICK HERE for a detailed label.
