(PRESS RELEASE) Atlanta Jewelry Show has engaged the expert digital marketing educators at Technology Therapy Group to conduct a single-day intensive training program that brings critical lessons in how to succeed in a digital landscape to jewelry business owners from all over the country. The 1-Day Digital Marketing Intensive will be offered as an add-on event to the SoHo Experience by Atlanta Jewelry Show, a combined conference and marketplace connecting jewelry makers and manufacturers with purchase-ready retailers.
“Throughout the history of AJS, we’ve prided ourselves on bringing people together to advance and celebrate the jewelry industry,” says Cindy Chandler, AJS Director of Education. “The 1-Day Digital Marketing Intensive further elaborates on our mission to enable growth and change for jewelry business owners. As we equip this industry with indispensable education on how to better promote their businesses and sell their products, we’re continuing to exemplify and amplify the value the Atlanta Jewelry Show has been consistently providing for more than 70 years.”
Atlanta Jewelry Show and Technology Therapy Group are delivering this partnership in acknowledgement of a growing need for digital advancement among retailers. In 2020, U.S. e-commerce grew by 32.4%, and studies from even before the pandemic showed that between 70-80% of people research a company online before visiting a small business or making a purchase with them, while 97% of consumers go online to find a local business or local services.
“A thorough digital presence has become non-negotiable for growing businesses of every size in every industry,” said Jennifer Shaheen, Technology Therapy Group President and Lead Trainer for the 1-Day Digital Marketing Intensive. “What once was an intimidating future possibility is now a very current opportunity for modernizing and innovating your brand. What we accomplish during this intensive will carry these motivated business owners into the next chapter of their growth and success, without the impediment of knowledge gaps or drawn-out searches for scattered information. We’re unifying everything they need in one rigorous day.”
The 1-Day Digital Marketing Intensive will be hosted and led by the digital marketing experts of Technology Therapy Group, a Rhode Island-based digital marketing agency turned educational hub that has been championing the independence and in-house expertise of small businesses since the mid-1990s. Their library of over 50 on-demand and live training sessions has been cultivated to empower start-ups and growing business to improve their digital know how, bridging the inherent knowledge gaps that come with the frequent and overnight changes in key marketing platforms and tools.
“We’ve been working with jewelry retailers, miners, manufacturers, and gemologists since our agency’s inception more than 20 years ago,” said Courtney Dumont, Senior Strategist of Technology Therapy Group and multi-session trainer for the 1-Day Digital Marketing Intensive. “We understand the complex needs of this industry and we’re packing a wealth of digital marketing know-how into a single day to help growing jewelry businesses develop agile strategies driven in equal parts by undeniable data and compelling storytelling.”
Registration for the 1-Day Digital Marketing Intensive is now open with seating limited to 50 jewelry business owners and staff members eager to enhance their digital marketing with data-driven advertising and storytelling strategies. Interested participants can learn more and register for the March 4th event at growyourdigitalreach.com.

When Peter Reines, owner of Reines Jewelers in Charlottesville, VA, decided it was time to turn over the “reins” of his 45-year-old business to Jessica and Kevin Rogers, he chose Wilkerson to run his liquidation sale. It was, he says, the best way to maximize the return on his decades-long investment in fine jewelry. Now, with new owners at the helm, Reines can relax knowing that the sale was a success, and his new life is financially secure. And he’s glad he partnered with Wilkerson for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. “There’s just no way one person or company could run a sale the way we did,” he says.
