'Rashtriya Unnati Kendra' website has no association with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship – Factly
An online website ‘Rashtriya Unnati Kendra’ is claiming to have an association with the Union Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. In this regard, the website claims that there is an initiative that allows candidates to register for employment opportunities through its online portal. Let us fact-check this claim.
Claim: Rashtriya Unnati Kendra website is associated with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
Fact: The website in the name of ‘Rashtriya Unnati Kendra’ is a fraudulent one. PIB Fact check had tweeted about the same website saying that it has no association with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). MSDE had also retweeted the PIB’s post. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When we searched on the internet, we could not find any scheme or organisation named ‘Rashtriya Unnati Kendra’ that is associated with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. Even the official website of the Ministry of Skill Development has nothing mentioned about any ‘Rashtriya Unnati Kendra’.
When we searched for the details of the website that is claiming to have been associated with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), we found the details of that website on the Whois.com website. This website with the domain name ‘rashtriyaunnatikendra.org’ was registered in November 2021 in the US. This website has nothing to do with MSDE.
PIB Fact check had tweeted about the same website saying that it has no association with MSDE. The fake website is fraudulently asking for ₹1645 as an application fee for recruitment in government projects. The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship had also retweeted PIB’s post.
