TRAFFIC ALERT: Multi-car crash shuts down northbound I-95 in Volusia County
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A major crash caused northbound I-95 to shut down Sunday afternoon in Volusia County.
The crash has cleared and traffic is once again moving in the area.
Officials have still not confirmed how many people were hurt or how many vehicles were involved in the crash.
A single lane has reopened in the area and drivers are starting to move past the crash site.
Major traffic backups continue on I-95 in the Ormond Beach area.
A serious crash has northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Volusia County shut down Sunday afternoon.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred at around 12:20 p.m. near mile marker 272.
All northbound lanes of the interstate are closed as first responders and a Life Flight helicopter respond to the scene.

It’s unclear how many vehicles are involved or how many people have been injured.
Traffic cameras in the area show some people out of their cars on the side of the road as drivers are unable to leave the area.
