Plank Nutrition Bar is coming soon to Evansville as a brick and mortar smoothie bar and nationwide as an online retailer via Amazon and our online store! We have received so much amazing support from local business owners along with nationwide experts. After much hard work we can officially announce the grand opening of our smoothie bar on February 5, 2022 and the opening of our online store today!
Plank is so proud of our own private label and self-formulated product line manufactured at one of the few actual FDA approved facilities in the United States located in Georgia. We worked extensively on tweaking and perfecting our products and we are so excited to bring a NEW concept to not only Evansville, but the United States and eventually the world. All of our products are natural and have no fillers or GMOs.
At the store in Evansville, IN we will not only offer great products but will also offer service sessions with licensed nutrition/health and life coaches on staff and truly want the Tri-state to have access to the best products and services possible! The Evansville location will also provide a service shake station where you can enjoy a protein shake, smoothie or wonderful beverage of greens and immunity boost amongst many other options.
Put these top-of-the-line products and services with a fun eclectic environment including Wi-Fi access and seating, and the perfect location between two of Evansville’s very best gyms: magic.
NICOLE BURK
President, Founder, and CEO
Nicole Burk is the President, Founder and CEO of Plank Nutrition Bar. What started as a passion project quickly took on a life of its own the more Nicole found herself wanting to serve not just the community, but nationwide with great opportunities for nutrition products and health services that improve the lives of many. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations/Advertising with minors in Business Management and Television/Radio. Nicole is also a certified Nutrition and Health Coach and Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine along with being a certified Life Coach with Certified Life Coaching Institute. Her professional background is in senior leadership, leadership development, sales and marketing and engineering. She enjoys spending her time giving back to the community as a CASA for Vanderburgh County and serving a coach and division president at Newburgh Youth Soccer. Any chance she gets she is with her husband Addison Burk, kiddos Noah and Anderson or her fur babies Gus and Sullivan. They enjoy traveling anywhere and everywhere together, which they do often due to their children’s’ sports activities. When Nicole takes time for herself you will find her at Club Pilates, Cycle Bar, a concert, traveling, meditating, or reading a book. Her overall passion is watching people reach their full potential.
LAUREN WILSON
Director Of Operations
Lauren Wilson resides in Henderson, KY where she was born and raised. Lauren’s work history includes business, project and retail management. She thrives where she can work diligently behind the scenes to make things happen for the team. Working as the Director of Operations, Lauren has found the perfect niche for her impeccable attention to detail along with her calling to work for a company and manage the operations for a product she is passionate about. She loves nutrition and finding new fun ways to incorporate physical activity into her day-to-day routine. Lauren is married to Kevin Wilson and has a full of life stepdaughter, Lennon. Lauren also has a fur baby that resides very closely to her heart, Cheese. In free time you will find Lauren traveling any chance she gets, enjoying Disney which is her home away from home and finding herself front and center at any concert she can find. Without Lauren’s detail behind the scenes operationally, Plank Nutrition Bar couldn’t reach all of the individuals it is called to bring life to.
KELSEY PHARR
Brand Director
Kelsey Pharr is the Brand Director for Plank Nutrition Bar and an Evansville native. Kelsey received her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science as well as a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Indiana. She worked as an Occupational Therapist for the previous six years leading her to her career at Plank Nutrition Bar. As an Occupational Therapist, she enjoyed helping patient’s meet their goals and realizing their full potential. Kelsey’s previous work experience and love for people makes Kelsey a vital part to the team. Kelsey enjoys building meaningful relationships with people and enjoys doing so in her director role at Plank Nutrition Bar. Kelsey has a passion for watching people hit their goals and push themselves to success, which is what led her to Plank Nutrition Bar. Her competitive nature is unmatched and will not back down from a challenge. When she’s not improving the lives and health of her clients and customers, she loves spending quality time with her husband Jason and her son Watson. On the weekends you can catch Kelsey spending time with her family and friends, attending sporting events, or checking out a new local restaurant.
