The Jets are in the process of closing out another losing season, but a number of their former employees are trying to make the Buccaneers back-to-back champions.
New York will square off against several ex-Jets when Tampa Bay visits in Week 17. The most notable will be Todd Bowles and Le’Veon Bell, but they’re far from the only familiar faces Gang Green will come across.

Bowles was the Jets’ head coach from 2015-2018, compiling a 24-40 record. He has been Tampa Bay’s defensive coordinator since his time in New York ended.

The Jets traded McLendon to the Bucs midway through the 2020 season. The defensive tackle won a ring with Tampa Bay last season after 4.5 years with the Jets.

Desir was supposed to be the Jets’ No. 1 cornerback last season, but that experiment went horribly wrong. Desir has two interceptions through 10 games for the Bucs this year.

Like Desir, Perriman was in over his head with the Jets last season as one of the top options at his position. The receiver spent time with the Lions and Bears this year before returning to Tampa Bay, where he thrived toward the end of the 2019 season.

Robinson’s brief time with the Jets, from 2017-2018, was marred by legal issues and suspensions. The cornerback did not appear in an NFL game in 2019 but has since played in 10 games for the Cowboys and Bucs.

The Jets signed Bell to a monster deal before the 2019 season in hopes of him bringing his Pittsburgh production to New York. Instead, the running back underperformed and found himself at odds with then-head coach Adam Gase. Bells has bounced around the league since being cut by New York last season; he’s only one game into his Bucs career.
