Brookhaven entrepreneur, 6, serves fellow students – Daily Leader – Dailyleader

Friday, Brookhaven Elementary third- and fourth-grade students enjoyed lemonade, popcorn and bags of candy, provided by Kenzie Lemonade and local sponsors.
Local kindergarten entrepreneur Makenzie Childs’ own business provided the snacks for 400 students from 10:45 a.m. until noon. Each student received a bag of treats, popcorn and lemonade celebrating the joys and accomplishments of public education.
The 6-year-old Mamie Martin student has been serving lemonade made from “a centuries old Mississippi family recipe” since early 2020.
The lemonade is infused with immune boosting vitamins to aid children’s health, according to the company’s information flyer.
