David Ginola has been the bookies’ favourite to win I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! for some time but new data suggests his popularity with bookmakers may not translate into votes. Digital marketing agency Mediaworks analyses the popularity of each celebrity daily and the footballing legend finds himself in a dangerous position.
Mediaworks analyses a sample of 500 tweets about each remaining campmate to gauge public opinion.
After the public voted out four celebrities, it looks like Matty Lee is in the firing line for Thursday’s eviction.
From November 26 to December 8, the Olympic gold medallist finds himself at the bottom of the sentiment chart.
However, at the other end of the scale Coronation Street stalwart Simon Gregson has soared to the top of the chart.

Former BBC Breakfast host and new camp leader Louise Minchin is in a battle for second place with Emmerdale’s Danny Miller.
This data suggest David will miss out on the 2021 final as he sits out of the top three.
Will Simon, Louise or Danny be crowned the King or Queen of the Castle?
The Celebrity Cyclone is one of the most infamous trials the series has ever seen and campmates are usually crushed if they miss out on taking part.

EastEnders icon Adam Woodyatt may find himself in the lucky position of competing along with Simon, Louise and Danny.
David and Frankie sit behind their four campmates on the sentiment chart while Matt trails behind.
Meanwhile, the outcome of this data could prove to be a huge shock for I’m A Celebrity fans.
The suave footballer is the favourite to be crowned King of the Castle according to bookmakers Ladbrokes.

He has been tipped to win with odds of 8/5 while Simon has recently become the new second favourite at 9/4.
Emmerdale’s Danny has slipped to third place with odds of 3/1 and Frankie has an 11/2 chance of winning.
Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Simon’s efforts in both the Castle Coin Challenge and Bush Tucker Trial were TV gold.
“Punters have been piling into his odds ever since, making him the new second favourite and a serious threat to David at the top of the betting.”

Elsewhere, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly took a cheeky swipe at the Prime Minister for a second time on Wednesday after previously referencing the alleged Tory Christmas party earlier in the week.
Discussing the camp’s decision to hide the fact they lost David’s letter from home, Ant remarked: “If we’ve learned one thing in the last 24 hours, you can’t cover something up.”
“No, that will come back to bite them at some point. Might take a year – but it will happen,” Dec continued.
“The situation was as clear as day, we all watched of them getting the question wrong,” Ant mocked.
“It was obvious what happened. Even Ant and Dec are ahead of the Prime Minister – sorry… Danny Miller… on this one.”
“Don’t worry, we’ll launch an enquiry on something – not that that’ll do anything,” Dec swiped.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues on ITV tonight at 9pm.
