Free virtual series explores NFT technology – Examiner Enterprise
The Thomas K. McKeon Center for Creativity at the Tulsa Community College Metro Campus has announced a series of free virtual workshops it will be hosting this month on NTFs (non-fungible tokens).
NFTs are non-interchangeable units of data stored on a blockchain, a form of digital ledger. Participants are invited to learn about this new technology and how it is changing the landscape in the art community as well as many other areas of the global marketplace. It will cover how to get involved, set up an account, create a wallet and how to best approach the metaverse as an artist in 2022.
The workshops will be led by NFT artist Eric John Palmieri, a fifth-generation Italian baker from Rhode Island and maker of unique pizza art, whose work has been featured on national news.
Workshops will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 8, Feb. 10, Feb. 15 and Feb. 17.
