Solace Nutrition (Pawcatuck, CT), a medical nutrition company, has acquired the assets of R-Kane Nutritionals (Burlington, NJ), which specializes in high protein meal replacement solutions for the weight management market. Solace Nutrition makes medical foods and dietary supplements to help individuals manage unique metabolic, nutritional needs, as well as chronic diseases. Its products are designed by healthcare professionals and should be administered under the supervision of medical practitioners. The acquisition of R-Kane Nutritionals offers Solace Nutrition a strategic extension into an adjacent nutrition market.
