A new fitness center has opened in Perry County.
Bryan and Patty Sibbach opened Perry Strength & Fitness Center earlier this month in the Village Square Plaza shopping center at 5201 Spring Road in Carroll Township near Shermansdale.
The 5,500-square-foot fitness facility includes cardio equipment, treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, barbells and exercise bikes. The gym’s group classes include cycle spin, yoga and Zumba. The facility also offers personal training as well.
Perry Strength & Fitness Center plans to provide complimentary seminars on nutrition, diabetes education and other topics in the future.
“We’ve seen the effect that the pandemic has had on individuals’ physical and mental states,” Patty Sibbach said in a news release. “So many people are starting over. Our goal at Perry Strength is to provide a very educational and community-focused environment where people feel welcomed regardless of their fitness level and not afraid to ask our staff questions.”
A grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held with the Perry County Chamber of Commerce and West Shore Chamber of Commerce at 5 p.m. Jan. 13. Perry Strength & Fitness has partnered with Capital Blue Cross to provide complimentary blood pressure screenings, a nutritional seminar and refreshments at the event.
The gym is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday.
The Sibbachs also own and operate Precision Training Concepts, personal training studios in Lower Paxton Township and Hampden Township.
