Christmas babies: Celebrities who were born on Christmas and Christmas Eve
While not everyone celebrates the same holidays, it’s hard to deny that December is all about Christmas. Because the world is so heavily focused on that one holiday, it makes it hard for people who were born on December 24 and December 25, being completely overshadowed by other celebrations.
Of course, us regular folks aren’t the only ones who have to deal with the consequenses of being Christmas babies–celebrities do too! Ricky Martin, Annie Lennox, and more celebs were all born during the holiday season.
Check out who else is in the club down below:
Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Ricky Martin was born on December 24, 1971.
This year, he’s giving back for his birthday, asking fans to donate to the Ricky Martin Foundation for a chance to win a private, virtual birthday celebration with the singer, tickets to one of his concerts, and more.
Iconic host and media personality Ryan Seacrest was born on December 24, 1974.
One tradition the radio host has for his birthday and Christmas Eve is eating fondue.
“Sausage balls are Christmas morning,” Seacrest previously teased on-air of his holiday traditions. “We do Christmas afternoon. You know I like to start the meal at 3:30 pm. … We will do the fondue on Christmas Eve and then we will wake up and make sausage rolled up with Bisquick and cheese and put them on a cookie sheet in the oven — they’re so good.”
Travis Barker’s daughter, Alabama Barker, was born on December 24, 2005.
The teenager recently took to Instagram to tell her followers she was looking for a stylist for December 24, which caused many to speculate she will be attending Kris Jenner’s famous Christmas Eve party on the night of her birthday.
Anthony Fauci, the Director of NIAID, was born on December 24, 1940. Last year, on his 80th birthday, the nation’s leading infectious disease expert spent his birthday and the holidays reconnecting with family over Zoom.
“The Christmas holiday is a special holiday for us because Christmas Eve is my birthday. And Christmas Day is Christmas Day. And they are not going to come home … that’s painful,” he told The Washington Post. “But that’s just one of the things you’re going to have to accept as we go through this unprecedented challenging time.”
Scottish singer-songwriter, political activist, and philanthropist Annie Lennox was born on December 25, 1954.
“I was born on Christmas Day, so my birthday and Christmas are blended together. As a child I used to wait all year for my birthday, so I’d have birthday presents and Christmas presents at the same time,” she told The Daily Record in 2020.
“That’s all I’ve ever known, so funny when you think about it,” she continued. “People said to me, ‘What a shame because you don’t get to have two separate celebrations.’ But it’s all I know, just Christmas and birthday all wrapped up together.”
Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau was born on December 25, 1971. He is a Canadian politician who has served as the 23rd prime minister of Canada since 2015.
